I was invited to this forum to take part in a community based on truth and love and am honored to be here.
I am J. Hadden and I make Northwoods.
It's my dream and what I live for.
Our exclusive innovations are well thought out and effective.
There is no doubt I am obsessive about my boards to a fault. Making an object that has purpose and beauty brings me great joy. Riders getting and ripping my boards brings even greater fulfillment.
I am here to share my love and talk about fingerboarding. Northwoods is constantly growing and bringing more fun to the table so I will utilize this space to keep you involved with our journey. We are serious about fun, offer an amazing fb experience and welcome any questions or comments.
For starters, I am 37 and have been riding fb and skating for over 20 years. My understanding of mechanics of trick performance led me to the development of the SWEETridge concave and shape. The years of private happiness fb gave me prompted me to give something back by starting a company to share the creation. Owning a fingerboard company is now a tool to help with the growth of the sport and meet people I otherwise would not know. I feel it deserves the same seriousness as Burton puts into snowboards or DC puts into shoes. Great gear embodies a wonderful experience that's just waiting on you to enjoy.

Ahh ... That is a very good question.  I understand there was an attack from "The Faker".  I respect your concern.  When the admins first informed me of the post I was shocked but able to guess the culprit as I have tangled with him in the past on several occasions.  

First off I will say I am sincere and speak from my heart.  This scares some but it is who I am.  Secondly, I know EVERYTHING there is to know about Northwoods because I am it.
Finally, you can tell by the way I write.  I take this seriously and you will not find anything from me that is written in the form of some jibber jabber ie "yo, Plz txt me cuz dx drop 2nite.". 
I have time to write out all my words as adults should do.  I'm not above a smiley face though.
I will gladly answer any questions.  I have respect for those who give it and consider any fb rider a friend.  I do have trade secrets and will protect those.  There are many that hate or pretend to be me. None of them actually own Northwoods.  The few that do own Northwoods are proud.  I get to know almost everyone who owns my boards because I care about their experience with my creation.
How to prove I am me..

Well I have an old man story that will pass the time.

 
In 1980 the movie Ghostbusters hit theaters.
Shortly after, a cartoon called ghostbusters hit television.  As you tuned in to watch your first cartoon adventure of GB you quickly discovered that despite the name, look and that their was actual ghost, this was not the REAL Ghostbusters.  It was a terrible, hollow knockoff delivering nothing it promised.
Luckily a cartoon came out shortly after called "the REAL Ghostbusters". And it was exactly what you had hoped the last one would have been, real.
Thank god for legitimacy and the truth.  Thank good people for finding and protecting it.

Nice story, J! Glad Ghost Busters came out with something worthy of television for you haha. Never knew it aired on TV at one point.

On a more important note, Northwoods decks are incredible quality. They are absolutely worth trying out. To anyone has heard that the shape is china, I challenge you to find me a china deck which matches a NW shape, because you'll be looking for the rest of your life!

Sweet, for the last 6 months I've been there every weekend. The wife was working on "Now You See Me" out there. She works there and I work in Colorado. I grew up in South Louisiana. You should visit "eye candy" Tatoos. They have a fb park set up inside:)

Hello FBSpot Community. I've been away making stuff and I wanted to share what's ready with you.
First off I am very excited about our new wide decks. The JOYSTIC is 31mm (32 inside concave) wide and 100mm long. The shape has been modified slightly with a more gradual taper. This board floats, flips and sticks to your fingers like it was meant to be. We are offering our new "Ink'd" editions in JOYSTIC so here are some pics.




I would love to hear your thoughts on what you see.
