Some people arent experienced and have no other way to learn than to ask questions. I like this forum b/c i could ask questions and get great answers from great people.

This is not what the fingerboarding discussion is for. YOU CAN POST THEM IN SPAM. If you post them here, I'll simply move them. Don't freaking troll.

I agree with Toasty. I was actually making a "Question Thread" in General Discussion, but I was wasn't sure if you guys would agree it is necessary. We don't need threads "what deck should I buy ?!?!?!!11"

but my questions arent spam. they are most likely going to be about fingerboarding. which goes in the fingerboarding discussion section.

Post them in spam. Do you see these sort of threads on FFI?

so if i were to post, a thread called "what is your favorite setup you hav ever had?" in fb discussion, when it is fb discussion i would be banned, and to argue you get banned? so simply put up for yourself and speak your opinion i could get banned?

what if a new member dont now where will they post their questions?

If you post them in the wrong section then we will move them appropriately until you get it right. People need to calm their shit. Questions such as "What deck should I buy?" or "Are these wheels good?" aren't really a discussion nor is it news, it is a poll, and, as such, should be posted in spam or the regular general discussion section. Fingerboard Discussions and news are for Discussions and News associated with fingerboarding. Anything else goes in the General Discussion section of the site. Don't disrespect anyone.

One of them was spam, the other is no longer relevant as it was a response to a post that no longer exists. If you really want to say what you did before, that's fine as this will not be modified again unless another argument happens or spam is posted.

okay well how would the poster know whether its annoying or not. not everyone is annoyed at the same thing so a question really cant be annoying. asking for advice on choosing a good board isnt annoying, just dont answer back. so if its a "new rule" you need to make loads more specific.

Don't post any questions that are asking for advice, or asking for help on buying something. It's not really a discussion, it's more of a poll, as Zanthos said.

It dont matter just ignore the post or lock it. Simple as that.

Just use your own judgement, if it still ends up in the wrong section it will be moved to the proper section. It's as simple as that. We would just like people to use a little forethought. Post your thread where you think it is most appropriate, and if you aren't sure, just shoot Toasty or me a PM. We are here to help as well as govern, we're not going to ban you or something over a simple query.
