How to make fingerboard decks better.

hey man, when i make my decks, i get the shape, then i drill the holes then i finish sanding. Why do you think it is better to drill after you sand?

yes after cause its easy to not center the holes that way

Should i put it under the lamp, directly after i take it out the mold?
Or make the shape of the deck and drill the wholes, then put it under the lamp?

Just let it dry naturally.
Wait a day before cutting.
Make a template to trace around so that you get a good shape.
Don't hand sand, the plies will start to come apart and will be THICK
Be careful when laquering, Spray lightly or you'll have bumps!
DON'T set the deck on something while laquering. It will stick to it!!! Hang them when laquering like yellowood does.
DON't use cheap laquer, it is cheap in quality, go for the good stuff.

how do you hang it?

just bend a coat hanger and put it through a hole,but put a pivit cup strip or lanyard on the hanger so it grips

cool but the way greenwood does his is just like yw does and it lookes like shoe lace.

nope, its just pivit cup covering a hangar

No coat hangers. I use. Stuff that looks like pivot cups but it,s actually plastic, and cheap too. Look for plastic lanyard material. This way you can spray too and bottom at same time. Hang it even and don't spray too much.
