| um.... Learn kickflips and take them down gaps... lol jk. Just go to Michaels and get some wood thats 1/16 of an inch thick and cut out 4 rectangles slightly bigger than a tech deck and mold it with 2 tech decks and some clamps. | |

| nolliewood.. umm i dont understand about molding it into ... 1/16 veneer?
my secret is to leave the decks in the sun when u have glued the plies. and use elmers carpenters wood glue.
warm up ur fingers by running them over a lighter.

| sorry for bumping,but elemers wood glue isnt very reliable i would cut into a deck that was in the mold for a day it it split and it was wet on the inside | |

| yea buy maple veneer off rockler.com get a vice so the pressure is even

First of all, it's not noobish. If your just starting it is good to use and it works decently if you do it right. Elmer's wood glue works great, and the tech deck mold is more reliable to come out not warped and very strong if you let it sit in the mold for even 8 hours, as compared to a bondo mold which can warp the deck and cause lots of problems. | |
