| Hey all I've made a mold similar to the low pro K-4 shape or Scott B shape and it looks great Only problem is I'm finding it hard to press the veneer inside of the mold so that it gets so tight to bend and get the full shape. It misses out the concave and deep before the kicks If you could please give me some suggestions or feed forward it'd REALLY help Thanks |

| if u already have the veneer, and the mold, u glue the plies of veneer together. then you use your vice to clamp the 2 parts of the mold forming equal pressure on the veneer and ur done.
once u get the correct shape, use the sander to sand the excess

| Try using less veneer, depending on the thickness of the veneer u use. | |

| Lol i know how to make fingerboards its just the fact that my clamp wont press firmly enough so that the veneer gets the EXCACT shape. I'm only using four plies for my new board. Btw would it help if i mad the second and 4th of 5 plies cut so that it bends the way the kicks do? And the other three normaly? |

| not trying to spam cause i was told to cut down...
countersinking is to drill a counter hole to make sure the screw fits perfectly. to drill holes you use a 1/8 drill bit, and to countersink, you use a 1/16 drill bit and go though a little bit so the screw can fit the deck perfectly. btw this is seriously off topic.
