| piss around the outline of the deck and the acid will burn it off. jk. use hardcore siccors(tin snips, lock cutters, ect...) then sand if you dont have a disc or belt sander. | |

| just cut some off and hand sand it them . hand sanding does look better and its cheaper. a disc sander i cannot gage the price but i am sure its more than 100 | |

| I used sandpaper. It is so easy my first deck came out great! I strongly recommend sandpaper. Get a couple sheets because it wears off after a couple decks. Sanders and powertools to make the curve are hard and annoying to use. It takes a little more time but just use sandpaper to make the nose and tail. Also to make its skinnier sand down the sides. Like me, If you use sharpie to outline the ply's make sure you sand it off. |

| No? Disc Sander is not better than a belt sander. And no, if you want a deck with good rounded edges, you can either use a belt/scroll saw or siccors to cut a rough cut. Then use a belt sander to get perfect edges. And finish off the rest with hand sanding. |

| For my homemade boards I just cut a rough cut out with scissors and then use either sandpaper or my friends belt sander. | |

| scissors is a bad idea, it puts alot of pressure on the board and could dig into the plies and split them | |
