collored plys

everytime i try to make a red middle ply it comes out pink.

i use food coloring.
please help me to get a good vibrant middle ply.

use tons of vinegar
it gets the job done

just use more vinegar

i know what to do now... you dont use vinigar at all you just pour the food dye on to the ply and let it sink in fo ages

by that pro pre dyed veneer

You are supposed to put it in a container filled with vinegar and food coloring,
so it is submerged in it for like 10 minutes.

vinegar destroys the pop

if you sun dry it long enough it should work. when i make decks with died plies, after even when the veneer is totally dry, my secret is to iron the plies so its still crisp not soggy

When i put my plies in the food colouring i only add a dash of White vinegar and heaps of colouring, it comes out red but when i sand it it turns pink? lol if you put tonnes of white vinegar the colour wont absorb

leave it in longer!

remember: not too much colouring. and the rest vinegar. if i die plies, i will really let it soak for a long time

Will it still have the same colour when u sand it?

if it soaks long enough it should.
