| Make a double impact deck like Almost. Do the plies like this: Burl Metal Core Burl Plastic Core Burl or have some decks with double the amount of impact in them. |

| Plastic is very hard to work with. Because when you cut it the plastic melts. | |

| Yea impact support would be cool, but it wouldn't help cuz its IMPACT support, your not really putting a lot of weight or pressure when you land on the deck. In fingerboarding, the more solid a deck is = longer lasting pop | |

| You should consider it if you want the strongest deck ever. Metal has the nicest pop. It's also precision machined. So, basically, it will never wear out. | |

| If you want wood for the bottom coat but you still want an extremely solid pop you're going to want to use a hardwood, with the grain running horizontal with the deck (Kick to kick, not side to side) and you're going to want to use some epoxy as a lacquer, and then spray lacquer over the coat of epoxy. | |

| IMO, i think the less you to to the wood the better. The deck stays more natural like I said before(i had no pun intended lol) The lacquer is just there to protect the wood and bring out the beauty of the wood, and to also made the deck solid overall. just make decks dude, im fine with a deck having a "metal heart" but thats just it. | |
