ive always wondered how to go about trying to get a fingerboard sponsor from one of the bigger guys like flatface berlin wood, winkler wheels, etc.
getting sponsored by a small company is simple, but would it be the same process for a company like flatface?

It's mostly invite only. Sometimes they hold tryouts, and that's when you bust out the camera and make something really nice.

No, not always. I know a lot of people that have a bunch of subscribers because of advertising but they're terrible.

Harder than it sounds, But also it's just a matter of being really good and showing your skills, being on FFI helps seeing how he tends to go on once and a while or FB.DE it's all on Who you know or how good you are, period.

^LOL well what darkwood did was that he kept taking mikes videos and just putting it on his youtube, and den when mike told ihm to stop darkwood asked if he could still go to a rendevous and then some s*** happpened and now he's on the team...atleast thats what i heard Very Happy

The people on big companies most of the time personally know the owners and they are friends. And skill doesn't always matter, most big companies want people that have a good attitude and fingerboard for fun. blablablablalala poop.

did you really expect extras? teyre EXTRAS.. he doesnt need to include them. if you buy $2 wheel washers, and it costs him $.50 a stick, thats 25% of his profit down the drain... its not a good idea to include extras with tiny orders
