Anyway, here is my latest obstacles. I will used these as templates of what quality should be.





This time I used black adonized aluminum coping, better cutting and sanding methods.

i like the black coping. my dad had smth lidat before but i never knew where he got it. now i know it haha. u should setup a site and venture more into the concrete. sorry for the spam .

I'm even amazed I actually pulled that one!

I just browsed a technique called "kerfing", so i don't have to buy thinner plywood to make the transition.

With that method, I can bend any thickness of plywood, very carefully.

The black coping is actually black adonized aluminum. The adonized coating actually gives a smoother grind and is resistant to common scratches.

I did that halfpipe in just 2 hours, by hand.

how do u bend it? can you teach?

sure. i just saw the method on the web, just a series of measured cuts on the reverse side, then the wood will get wobbly enough to bend. but be careful though, the top ply can crack!
after mounting the transition, just dab wood glue on the cuts made then you'll have one solid curved wood. steaming the wood before the kerfing also helps.

They are training right now for the series of finger boarding contests her in October, which is open for everyone who can visit us. The events are organized by Tech Deck Philippines and we are expecting some foreigners to join in.

I still haven't formulated the parameters of sponsoring offshore players. maybe anyone can give inputs?

Awesome! Fingerboarding in the Philippines is currently enjoying a revival. So far we only have one distribution company providing us of the imported brands like BRR, low pro etc. We're hoping other companies would setup their business here.
