i have a question

k so in skating buying a complete is kinda dumb because your preferances may not match whats on the complete. plus some completes just come with generic parts since that company doesnt make that product. of course this is different when buying a custom complete...
however im looking to get my first wooden fb and i want to know if this is the same for fingerboarding.
i was looking at the g12 comlete, since i dont know about fingerboard wheels and trucks and what not.

Everything the G12 comes with is good.

the flatface g12 complete comes with a randomly chosen deck, factory painted trucks, and a random set of flatface g6 bearing wheels. very good for $60

yes good choice it comes with everything you need id definitely get it

i would say, for the price its definitely worth it, plus you know you'll be getting g6 wheels, not some random shit

G12 completes looks nice, but you can do a lot better. Buy a cuatro for 30 bucks, wides for 5-10 bucks, and No Comply minis for only 22 dollars. That's a much better deal.

Well a g12 and g6's are 60 alone. So your geting trucks, teflon bushings, and a piece of rip all for free

Yes but g12's aren't too great IMO, and I've never been impressed with ff wheels.

No, I'm just not someone who worships mike and uses crappy products just because he made them.

Support a brand because of the quality and not the name. I love No Comply, Cuatro, and Yellowwood. Mikes a total jerk, too. He's such a jerk towards Justin and Todd. It's uncalled for. Noah's a great kid all around, and Todd and Justin are super nice. No Comply is Todd's Job, it's what he makes a living for his family off of.

Anyway, if you want a pretty decent deck complete for really cheap, Close Up g3's are okay. Otherwise it's very likely that you can get a "custom complete" with better parts for the same price as a g12 complete. Toasty's example is an excellent one, pretty much all you might change would be the deck.

To be honest, I like my flatface g6as just as much as my winkler tlc's

And I think that if the price is good and so are the products then go ahead and buy it. Yes those company's you named have amazing products but this thread is about the product. Just because Mike is a dick doesn't mean that's how he really is? Haha that makes no sense but yeah I get what your saying. Support who you want and maybe for some reason you don't like Mike and you don't want to support his company, but performance and quality wise, you can't go wrong with a g12 complete

Lets put it this way. I said Mike is a jerk because of how he acts towards other companies. Now is that neccessarly supporting the scene? Spinmaster makes wooden fingerboards that anyone can get used to, so why don't we all buy one of those? "BuT thEy doN'T suPPoRt the RelE sEeN"

Well I just don't even like G12's or ff wheels in general. Mike's wheels are just a little too fat for me, and they aren't as smooth as other wheels I've tried. G12's don't have much concave, if any, and the nose kick is just too high fmp.
