S.K.A.T.E. Tournament

I thought it would be really cool to have a skate tournament through video chat. if you're interested just comment. i was thinking maybe winner gets a deck from a sponsor or something like that. if anybody wants to help organize or anything thats cool. thanks!

i like ur idea, but with video chat, its out of the question. video chat cannot capture enough fps for fingerboarding. the time zone difference will make it pretty ridiculous too. i think its still possible to organise a HUGE skate tourney with some planning though, but it will take some time, still

Maybe this should be turned into an event. Skate would be hard but maybe something along the lines of Hit The Line or a Best Trick contest(tampa style.)

yeah, something like a line contest. I can't edit at all, so a line would be nice.

We could call it something cheesy like FBSpot's Line Drive contest.

alright. who's going to sponsor this event with prizes? we also need to do places, like 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place. Hunter or some other mod should make a thread with a poll, and people post their entry onto that thread. people vote for who they like best on that poll.

ill make a thread once we have sponsors, ill organize it...

as long as you can basically see the tricks people land it should be fine. it wouldnt be that difficult to organize. its not going to be competitive. sure it'll be a contest but it is also meeting other fingerboarders
