| umm i use to yoyo. for my bearings, i used zippo lighter fluid. dont do that because in fingerboarding, the lighter fluid might melt the nylon in the bearings.
dont use WD 40 because its a cheap and bad and over time collects dirt and gunk and also fucks up ur bearing. Trust me, my 70$ freestyle inline skate bearings were ruind just like this.
firstly, remove the bearings and clean the junk that you can with a piece of toilet paper. then you spray the poop out with canned air. after that , take a canister, pour in some rubbing alcohol. put ur bearing in it and shake it for like 1 minute. you will see most of the gunk coming out. remove the bearing and pat dry. then spray it with canned air and let it sit for like a few minutes until u think it is dry. when ur done, test the bearing and make sure it spins. take your skateboard lubricant and use a paintbrush and let it soak to lube the bearing. (dont use cock lubricant) wipe away the excess with toilet paper. test the bearing again and put it back into your wheel. hope it helped. some FFI ppl use the alcohol and canned air too. i figured it out when i fell down during skating.

or is it an extra option it is better if u do so. because u see, all bearings are PRE OILED even before it is put into a wheel. so its safer to use skate bearing lube because without lube ur quality of rolls might drop. (because all the oil is flushed out when you actually wash your wheel) lubing ur wheels is good and the effect lasts you quite some time. trust me, i did it on closeup metal core wheels and they roll very smooth on my glass table. in the end its optional. but if you plan to use a cheap lube like WD40 to substitute it, then better not. but at least clean ur bearings, like substance wheels tend to collect a load of shit in the bearing

| remember just a little bearing lube will do. i recommend using a brush. its alot easier . let it soak in for a while then you wipe the excess off | |

When i clean my bearings i use a tooth brush and soap and just scrub all around inside the wheels ur doing it all wrong because firstly you cannot insert anything inside the bearing. bristles of the toothbrush will cut the nylon and its NOT GOOD. soap is needless to say cause its alkaline its not good when it goes in IT WILL DAMAGE YOUR BEARING OVER TIME. dont do it its not recommended. nothing shoud go into the bearing. i suggest you dont do that again. its worse than zippo lighter fluid
