New Fingerboard Shop

My parents and I are thinking of making a fingerboard shop/park thing. I need help choosing an area for it, generally around the saint louis area. Do you know what area in which people fingerboard most and might go here. I am also going to try to get some company's to sponsor it such as blackriver or fastfingers. We will have a shop including Fingerboardparks and maybe a skateboard halfpipe in the back. Please help me and suggest ideas. Thank you.

Dude so boring in the UK the nearest thing to a fb shop is tesco's (a supermarket) which only sells like 2 tech decks. If you do open a shop goodluck.

Im having a store which first of all gets money
and I am also having a park section that costs $5 admition and ima try to get BRR or FFR to sponsor it.

and Renting costs less then buying (i am renting)

hmm i am liking the idea but $5 per entry is abit expensive. lower it to 2 bucks. u will still earn $$ . its more affordable too. u may want to make some kind of umm membership thing so regulars can pay lesser like buy a monthly or even yearly admission card. i wish u good luck. i envy u. ur parents support fb so much! then u can also sell techdecks, and all sorts of decks , wheels tuning and stuff so u are running a distribution company as well.

yeah i like you idea, but i think im gonna have to keep it at 5 dollars because there wont be any profit if it is lower. I am probably gonna do the membership thing...

yea. have a mini ramp, box, kicker, and a small pyramid. that would be fun for like 2-3 hour seshes. idk but yea its cool your parents are like that.and get a g6 park =D

SO this is what is going down,

I will have a rendezvous type thing in the general area that i will have my shop. I am going to see how many people will come to the event in order to see if people will come to my shop.
If enough people come to this event, then the shop will be made.
I will have sponsors, maybe brr, ftaface, ffrco, nocomply ect...
Hope this all goes as planned.

have it be _________ skateshop fingerboard park. duuhh. also make your own fb decks. goosd quality too. have them be exotic plies and colored plys with opstions of like reg, reg steep, wide, wide steep, ect... and have old school hammer heads(coppieng bw ideas but thats what works and your not actually coppieng the shape.) then distribute skate decks, trucks, wheels, ect... and fingerboard ramps, rails, and decks. the works. on wall be Fb, one wall be skating and from there on. dream shop

when ur shop is out u should offer to distribute products. who will be working there and how are u gonna cope if there is school lol? i think i can also get a grafitti artist to do grafitti murals on the walls.

i am gonna try and have a park like a big square but you can walk on the inside of it and another one where you can walk

wow i am impressed. good luck to ur fb store. i like the idea of the square. they should do smth lidat for fast fingers too

Ok first you gotta ask your self, How much will everything to come out to be?
because if its over 1,000$ i will just suggest you get the G6 BRR park.

Second, Make sure you find a good location where everything is safe.
don't just pick a random spot without knowing whats around it, or the people that live around there.

Third, Dont let random people come in your shop without knowing them. Some people might come to the shop to find a way to break in.

Fourth, ask your self if the place is big enough for the park to fit and people to be able to walk around. Also make sure you get a HUGE AC. Most people hate the smell of hot/sweaty people.

Fifth, Make sure you install cameras around the shop, just to be secured. I will also recommend you get a TV on a wall for some people to enjoy watching videos. Or just hook up your PS3/xbox360 and put SKATE2 in that zhit!

My last tip will be, to keep everything organized and under control. If something bad happens your ass might get sued. Also keep an adult in the building when others you don't know are shopping.

Ohh and one more last thing! make sure you have a credit card machine that supports VISA/MASTER CARDS. and always have a PC or laptop to sign in members. or calculate stuff for you.
