Spam Prevention.

I think a new rule for the forum should be there should be a five word minimum for each post to prevent spam, and make the page load faster, I mean it would help a lot, does anyone else agree?

it wont work, because most of the spam on this forum isnt from assholes typing shit like :fuck you , but rather, its more of jerks bumping up the old thread. do u notice that?

I think all threads more than two weeks old should be locked, unless they're active stickys, like "post your setup", etc.

i think thats was a good idea put poorely thought through, it would not work

Yeah i do notice that. And if the mods enforce it and are willing to ban, it will work and we can clean this forum up and remove the assholes.

banning should be a last resort though... Too many people are too willing to ban people.

But banning should be done in stages
telling them what they did wrong
last warning
ban for about a week
ban a month
permanent ban

that's how it should be

You dont mean like if somebody jipped someone of for a td or like you mean if somebody double posted then they get banned ?

as in, small matters.

he means they shouldn't get the perma-ban just for something ultimately insignificant.
