PostSubject: Making this forum more successful   Making this forum more successful Icon_minitimeFri Oct 23, 2009 6:36 am

I've been on this forum for almost a week now and I'm really enjoying my stay on it. I did however notice that it lacks popularity. The same members are posting everyday. This forum could be so much better if we had more members posting and it was more active. Everyone that is loyal to this site should strive to make it as popular as possible so we can make it as big as FFI, Fingerboardcommunity, and all those other fingerboard forums out there.

I was thinking that maybe we could hold a contest like FFI does sometimes? This would make this forum bigger and better. They're so many other things we could do also that would help this forum. With that in mind, lets all start advertising and getting this forum to be better and more active! Very Happy

Yes I agree. As an active poster here and on youtube, i like to do promos and add links to the videos i post. If u have a channel page, post a little about FB Spot in there and give the link. Good post Barbian

yah that would be cool. ^ One person would have to do it all though. I could but i would have to get CD's from you guys of some clips and them edit them on my computer. Unless of course you can find a way to send files besides email. Email wouldn't work because there would be too many files to send.

Were not all for Beeing popular or anythink... this forum is for people to chill and post... we definitly dont want it to get like ffi popularity wise... it would be amazingly difficult to moderate and it would loose that community vibe... i would say we should delete all of our in active members ( the ones that dont post and have never logged on...)

then we could make a promo with just a few ppl like 5 or so.
1) less ppl to rely on
2) good size video
3) not to many files or videos we have to send to the main editor

i will volenteer to do it.

also we could have a big fbs meet up. it wold not erase the comunity vibe. it would make it even more a comunity. we could have it anywere i would definatly go.
